Kolkata and Nagaland- April 2008

Nagaland has a special place in my heart. This work was started among the head-hunting Sema Nagas back in 1947 under the pioneer missionary work of Becky's grandfather, Bengt Anderson. Bengt and Enda worked in Aizuto from 1947-1954.

OTW > Visiting Mother Teresa's Sisters of Charity, Kolkata, India- April 2008

OTW > Preston joined me on this trip. We stopped in Kolata and visited Mother Teresa's Sisters of Charity.

OTW > Mother Teresa left a great impact on the world. She once said that the world's greatest problem is 'unwantedness'.

OTW > I am standing at Mother Teresa's tomb located in the ministry compound.

OTW > Kolkata is a bustling city with much human need.

OTW > This is a stately building constructed by the British. It lies in the center of Kolkata.

OTW > After a short rest in Kolkata (after 2 days of travel), Preston and I flew to Dimapur, Nagaland.

OTW > Joshua Rochill was our host. Joshua is the Executive Director of the SBAK, a network of Sema, Naga believers. He is also the principal of the Anderson Theological College in Aizuto, Nagaland, India.
