Esther Leadership Home- Today- 2007

This is a loving home for up to 24 little girls who were born in one of India's brothels to sex workers. We opened the home in September 2006 as a joint project of OTW and Churches Together Fellowship, India. The girls are healthy and growing as they experience the love and grace of God.

OTW > This is one of the Esther girls. She is weeping. Amazingly, this is not weeping because of the horrible circumstances of her former life. She is weeping in a worship service where God has tenderized her heart. This is what we are seeing taking place in the lives of the Esther girls.

OTW > Scott purchased small musical instruments while in Costa Rica and deliver one to each of the 20 Esther girls. They have become quite proficient as little musicians since the November visit. Here Preston Junkin is teaching them the fingering of the flutes and the scale.

OTW > Joel Onesimus says the girls are eager to learn music and play their flutes all the time. I promised to upgrade their instruments next November if they become proficient on these over the year.

OTW > Here the girls are placing flower wreaths on us as we came for our first visit in November. This is a sin of loving welcome. The girls actual hand stitches the wreaths earlier in the day.

OTW > The girls are standing in the entry of the Esther Home. We rent the house next to Joel's ministry headquarters. We hope to purchase a permanent residence in the near future.

OTW > What can I say? You can see why I love these little kids. It has been such a thrill to see how much God has changes their little hearts by his love and encouragement to them.
